Once,

I remember once, a long time ago
before I was forgotten in the snow
before I decided I had to carry more than my memory,
everything was a feather, but so many became heavy.
Before I new what my life would become
I was so innocent, ignorant and dumb
I wish I would have turned back but I've gone too far now
there's too much i would in this time allow
The fist time I struck I split my soul
now there's nothing but a hole
I cut that human part out of me
the part that felt and wanted to be free
Everytime took a life, I took their life with me.
and now I have it all so strong under lock and key
But where has that key gone, I lost it long ago
before I was forgotten in the snow

So if you look back through my life
to the very beginning of my strife
look and see if you can find
what so long ago was mine
I'd like it back I miss it so,
why I need it I do not know
It is in a box, with an empty keyhole
A wooden solid box no parts, one whole
and that key will open up that box
to open it you will need three knocks
Please find and return to me
